I am going to give you reasons why the traffic signs in the UK are terrible. I am pretty sure you britons are okay with this mess, but I am not.
1. Dual use of the symbol 'm': Mile or Metre?
They should never use "m" to mean mile.
At least in the US, we always write the word "MILE"
I wonder if a foreign driver ever tried to exit 10 metres past the top sign
2. Say 800 yards, mean 800 metres
I guess this one does not really matter as much, but:
